Re: Compact, easy, nice elevator design
With that many lenses, you may as well use a block dispenser based t-flipflop. Also, wouldn't the interrupted light beam system also work on the reverse button side? IE: piston on a button interrupts light beam? Then the entire setup would only need two lenses.

You know what would be cool then? Make certain types of biomes only generate X chunks away from spawn.

Re: Nether Compatible, Infinitely Extendable Auto-pottery sy
Yeah, in the second post you'll find I ran into the same problem, and replaced the single redstone dot with a repeater. This necessitated repeaters in the same position in the other lines as well, in order to keep the timing. But I'm happy to see the design being used in survival, as my own survival...

This is an example of one of Humanity's saving graces: No matter how much you think a job sucks; someone, somewhere finds it intrinsically fun and rewarding.

Honestly, I really wish they occurred underground instead of far away. I'd love to stumble into a large cavern with an ecosystem while caving. Something needs to be done to make caving and mining less tedious.

In 30 days FC could rewrite vanilla minecraft. Which is exactly my guess: he's writing an entirely new base game for better than wolves to add on to, so that we no longer need vMC at all.

Synchronized Turntables
So I'm working on the Mark-3 of my extending pottery system, and I need to time a crap-ton of pistons to all go off in an exact sequence. Even a 1-tick delay anywhere would be a problem. But I've figured it out. ::Edit:: failed to imbed video correctly. Video is here. Each turntable in the sequence ...

This is definitely a case of me not understanding my own invention.
Would you be so kind as to post a screenshot or video showing each different bit?

Re: Nether Compatible, Infinitely Extendable Auto-pottery sy
Wow I only just noticed this was a response to my thread!! Any chance of you measuring how fast each section goes? Cause mine's pretty fast =D you'll need like 10 or 20 of yours to keep up! Well that's just it, you can't speed up how fast an individual turntable makes a pot, so the only way to incr...

Six bits? I thought it was only four. Lets see we have (no redstone no light), (Yes redstone No light) (Yes redstone yes light), and (No redstone Yes light). And I'm not sure if there are in fact light-emitters in both redstone categories.

Re: Nether Compatible, Infinitely Extendable Auto-pottery sy
It would be really easy, using water flows. Without them, well, I haven't been able to get it to work. The items get stuck over the full hopper and don't move on.
Like I said, even *I* don't understand the sorting system I built. I kinda tranced out and when I came to, it was there.

Re: Nether Compatible, Infinitely Extendable Auto-pottery sy
As of what's posted, you either directly place it in the block dispenser (It's accessible), or you drop them in as items into the turntable chamber. They'll get fed into the block dispenser the same as clay balls. Of course, that means you have to load each one individually. This is practically spea...

Yeah, after my first few legitimate decks, I bought a whole bunch of cheap land cards. This was at University, so I had access to an HD color printer. I printed out the cards I wanted, cut them out, and spray-glued them to the cheap cards. I never passed then off as real or used them in "offici...

Nether Compatible, Infinitely Extendable Auto-pottery system
This design is in response to the challenge in This Thread on a high-capacity nether compatible tube kiln. In that thread, the OP asked for pottery factory that could keep up with his kiln, recycled all clay, and worked in the Nether (ie, no water.) Well, here you go. http://i.imgur.com/e1SkK.png Th...

So, Uh, for science. Yeah, science. Totally not for sick curiosity.
They work just fine together.
(If one were hypothetically to go out of one's way to mess with this, I'd suggest making it so the only "armor" that ponies could equip would be the Breeding harness. That'd be hilarious.)
